Produced from Encruzado grape vines in the Dão region. The harvest took place between the end of September and the beginning of October, depending on the ripeness of the grapes. After harvesting the wine, a stainless steel fermentation process begins at a controlled temperature of 16°C. Fermentation ends in new French oak barrels and the wine ages for around 6 months. The wine aged in contact with the fine lees with weekly bâtonnage for 6 months in new French oak barrels, until bottling.

Tasting Notes:
Straw yellow color, with some intensity. Elegant aroma, fresh citrus notes and light presence of wood. A broad, full-bodied, dry and persistent wine with a great balance between fruit and wood. pleasant freshness, creaminess and minerality. An elegant set with long longevity.
Store and Serve Advices:
The bottle must be kept horizontally, in a cool, dry environment and protected from light, and can be stored for many years. To be consumed from 12oC upwards, in a wide glass.
Food Pairing:
An extraordinary wine to accompany structured fish, white meat dishes or even the emblematic Queijo da Serra.
