Prepared in an artisanal way with fruit from Portugal, with more than 55% fruit, without added additives or preservatives and with a reduced amount of sugar, maintaining and preserving traditional methods. Ingredients: Persimmon, orange, sugar, Douro muscat (contains sulphites), walnut, citrus pectin and lemon juice.
Tasting Notes:
The Algarve orange and the Douro Moscatel wine are perfect partners for the persimmon, grown in Portugal, from scattered trees or borders, a fruit with juicy orange-red pulp and a bittersweet and astringent flavor. The walnuts from the Trás-os-Montes region, with a very characteristic flavor, complete this combination, making it a jam with a unique flavor.
Storage:
Store at room temperature, free from humidity, dirt or other factors that may cause contamination or alteration of the product. Store in the refrigerator after opening.
Perfect Serve:
Excellent accompaniment to cheeses, “Leyden“ cheese (PGI), “Provolone“ cheese (PDO), “Múrcia” cheese (PDO), Azeitão cheese (PDO) and Serra de Estrela cheese (PDO). Ideal for spreading on toast with sunflower seed cereal or macaroni fillings.
