Manual harvest, organized by grape varieties, respecting the uniqueness and respective maturation. Transport in small boxes to avoid crushing. Manual selection of bunches. Total stalking followed by cold skin maceration for the Touriga Nacional variety. Fermentation using gentle daily manual pumping over. Post fermentative maceration. Aging in 300 liter French oak casks for 20 months. The wine is not stabilized or filtered so it may show deposits.

Tasting Notes:
Dark and intense ruby color. Deep, complex aroma but with notable freshness. Red (currant) and black (cassis) fruits, licorice, menthol notes and spicy notes (clove, black pepper) dominate. It is silky, with very fine tannins giving the wine extraordinary tension and texture. Excellent acid balance. Very long finish.
Store and Serve Advices:
We recommend decanting it. Enjoy at a temperature between 16 and 17 in a Bordeaux glass. It is expected to have an aging potential of at least 15 years.
Food Pairing:
Ideal to accompany various meat dishes, especially red meat and feathered game.
