The harvest took place under ideal atmospheric conditions in the 2nd week of September. The grapes were duly selected and the fermentation process took place over 10 days in a granite wine press with foot treading and temperature control. This method allowed for adequate phenolic extraction while maintaining the primary aromatic identity of the fruit. Malolactic fermentation followed in stainless steel tanks and aging in used French oak barrels for 18 months.

Touriga Nacional,Tinta Francisca,Tinto Cão,Sousão
Tasting Notes:
Ruby red color. Concentrated aroma of red fruit and elegant spicy notes. In the mouth it is enveloping with evident fruit and good freshness on the palate in perfect balance, which indicates good capacity for evolution in the bottle. Present but velvety tannins, finishes pleasantly long.
Store and Serve Advices:
Bottles should be stored lying down, with the wine in contact with the cork, in a cool place. This wine should be consumed at a temperature of 16ºC.
Food Pairing:
Enormous gastronomic versatility, from more complex fish dishes; red meat and game and soft and cured cheeses.
