Grapes from 5 plots, located in 4 different vineyards, in the three sub-regions of the Douro. In this way, a balance was sought between the different exposures, altitudes and grape varieties. Aged for 16 months in used French oak barrels.
Grape Varieties:
Sousão,Tinto Cão,Touriga Franca,Touriga Nacional
Tasting Notes:
Intense ruby color. Very expressive in aroma, with notes of very ripe red fruits, liquorice and a light balsamic suggestion from the barrel aging. In the mouth it is intense, with fully integrated tannin and very balanced acidity.
Store and Serve Advices:
Store at 12ºC and serve at 16ºC to be drunk at 18ºC.
Food Pairing:
Ideal to accompany meat dishes, game and soft cheeses.
