Winemaking:
Manual harvesting for small boxes. Total destemming. Pre-fermentative cold maceration. Alcoholic fermentation with moderate temperature control in stainless steel vats and daily manual reassembling. Aged in oak barrels for 12 months.
Grape Varieties:
Touriga Nacional,Tinta Roriz,Touriga Franca
Tasting Notes:
Intense and fresh aroma dominated by aromas of red pit fruits (plums and cherries) and wild berries (blackberries and blueberries) combined with elegant floral notes. Slight suggestions to toast of barrel, spices and cacao. The palate has a very soft, elegant attack, full of aromas resembling wild berries. Fresh. Fine tannins. Long finish.
Store and Serve Advices:
Serve at a temperature of 16 a 18°C.
Food Pairing:
Goes well with red meat dishes, pastas and cheese.
