Product details

Winemaking:
A white wine made from grapes mostly of the Encruzado variety (around 90 per cent), along with Alvar, Luzidio, Sercial, Cercial Branco, Moscatel Galego and Semillon. It's a wine made the old-fashioned way, extracting more colour and tannins through contact with the skins during vinification. The grapes were harvested by hand and transported to the winery. Skin maceration followed by fermentation with the skins for 5 days. Fermentation finished in used 400 litre French oak barrels. It aged for 9 months in the barrels, where it was bâtonnaged on fine lees.
