Winemaking:
Manual harvest, total destemming, followed by fermentation in a 5000L wine press with foot step twice a day. Aging for 13 months in 225L French oak barrels. Not Filtered.

Tasting Notes:
Clear appearance, deep garnet colour. Deep aroma, with notes of black fruit, dry vegetable, graphite and spices. Light notes of toast from the barrel where it aged. In the mouth it is engaging and elegant, with acidity very present, has a full and very persistent aftertaste.
Store and Serve Advices:
Recommended temperature for tasting: 16-18ºC. Ideally decanted for 30 to 40 minutes.
Food Pairing:
Ideal with dishes of red meat in the oven or grilled, Portuguese stew, cod in the oven or simply with fresh bread and black pork sausages.
