Produced at Herdade das Assentes de Baixo, from carefully selected grapes and harvested manually in 12 kg boxes. Made from Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional and Trincadeira varieties. Vinified in mills and aged for 18 months in French oak barrels of 225 liters and small clay amphorae of 190 liters.

Tasting Notes:
Intense ruby colour. Aroma of notes of ripe wild berries, jam and spices. Nuances of cocoa and mocha. It shows evenly the well integrated toast of the barrels and the mineral of the clay amphorae. The richness of the fruit is immediate in the mouth. It is voluminous and intense, with firm tannins and a long, complex and persistent finish.
Store and Serve Advices:
Serve between 16ºC and 18ºC.

It accompanies red meats, roasts, spicy dishes, cheeses and pates.
