Product details
The grapes were hand-picked and immediately destemmed. Alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures between 24 and 26°C. After fermentation was complete, the wine was kept in post-fermentation maceration for a period of 5 days. Malolactic fermentation occurred naturally in the tank. The wine was then transferred to 225L barrels, where it aged for 18 months.

Tasting Notes:
It comes from dryland vineyards with granite soils of low fertility, oriented from northwest to southwest and at an altitude of 300 meters. Eleven years after the harvest date, and 7 years after being available on the market, time has allowed the wine to evolve and the Cellar Release – Tapada de Coelheiros 2013 is today a wine of great elegance, distinguished by its silky texture and persistent finish, highlighting the balance between freshness and complexity, conveyed by tertiary notes of tobacco, leather and moss, in harmony with a background of ripe black fruit.
