Product details

Winemaking:
The Colheita it is a high quality Port issued from a single harvest, aged in oak casks for at least seven years. Grapes are harvested manually and transported in 30 Kg trays. Controlled fermentation with extended maceration, stopped by grape brandy addition. Fines in oak casks for a period no less than 7 years. During maturation the wine mellows by oxidization similarly to Old Port Wines, and presents characteristics that are unique of the harvest year.

Touriga Nacional,Touriga Franca,Tinta Roriz,Tinta Barroca,Tinto Cão

Tasting Notes:
Fine aroma. Outstanding notes of dried fruit, very good liqueur taste, perfect texture in the mouth, very elegant. Long, spicy finish.

Store and Serve Advices:
It should be served at room temperature 18ºC/64ºF or slightly chilled.

Food Pairing:
Excellent digestive wine. Splendid with cheese, pastry, sweets, nuts, light puddings and cakes. Ready to drink when bottled.

Bottled in 2012. Very well in the aroma, a vinagrinho present but which gives austerity. Excellent notes of dried fruit, very good licorados, perfect mouth texture, very elegant, is a great harvest. Long end and especiado.
