Product details

Winemaking:
Of all the Port wine producers, Taylor's holds one of the largest and oldest reserves of oak-aged Port wines. These reserves include a very rare selection of Single Harvest Ports. These Ports come from a single year and reach their maturity in oak casks, displaying the harvest year on their label. Taylor's decided to release a limited edition 50-year-old Single Harvest Port annually. The tenth release in this series is the Taylor's Single Harvest from 1976.

Store and Serve Advices:
We recommend serving this wine slightly chilled, ideally at a temperature between 12° and 16°C. Given its characteristics, this wine can be enjoyed for an extended period after opening the bottle. Ideally, we recommend drinking the wine within two months of opening the bottle.

Food Pairing:
It is a sublime accompaniment to many desserts. It combines very well with flavours of figs, almonds, and caramel. It is equally excellent with a crème brûlée or a bowl of strawberries. It can also be enjoyed on its own, at the end of a meal, or with nuts and other dried fruits.

Allergens:
Contains sulphites.

Disclaimer:
The photo shown is a copy of one of the bottles we have available for delivery. Keep in mind that the older the wine, the more likely the bottle will have some external dirt or slightly damaged labels. This does not mean, however, that the wine is not in a condition to be consumed.
The wines from our rarity zone are stored and air-conditioned in the most correct way so that the wine ages correctly in the bottle, but over time, the wine evolves and changes its characteristics.
We recommend that you carefully remove the cork and let the wine air for some time in order to release its natural aromas. Avoid decanting as it can be a very aggressive operation for old wines.
