This Port wine was produced using the traditional method. After hand-harvesting, the grapes were partially destemmed and crushed in the lagar, where they underwent light maceration before alcoholic fermentation (AF). Fermentation was stopped with the addition of brandy at the ideal time determined by the winemaker. This resulted in a fortified wine, aged in oak barrels in the Douro Valley. During aging, the lees were removed and several adjustments were made. This Colheita wine was filtered before bottling in Gaia.

Tasting Notes:
Bright, brick-coloured appearance. On the nose, it presents aromas of a bouquet of dried fruits and wood. On the palate, candied plums, dried figs, and vanilla.
Store and Serve Advices:
It is recommended to store in a cool place, at a constant temperature (ideal storage temperature 12ºC), away from light, and in a horizontal position.
Food Pairing:
An excellent digestive, it pairs particularly well with sweet desserts like almond tart and English cake, and is excellent with island cheese and cigars.
