Tasting Notes:
Medium-intensity brick color. Pronounced aromatic intensity, with striking notes of caramel, marmalade, nuts, toast, black pepper, and coffee. A complex and exuberant wine. The high acidity harmoniously balances the sweetness. The beginning is marked by a spicy and peppery profile, which evolves into a velvety texture. The finish is smooth, long, and dominated by caramel notes.
Store and Serve Advices:
The bottle should be stored upright, at a constant temperature, and away from intense direct light. Once opened, consume preferably within 18 to 20 weeks. It can be served slightly chilled at 12°C to 14°C. Port wine is a natural wine, so it may form some natural sediment over time.
Food Pairing:
The 1995 vintage boasts remarkable concentration and impressive acidity. It pairs perfectly with richer, full-fat cheeses, spiced or nut-based desserts, and is equally memorable when enjoyed on its own.
Allergens:
Contains sulphites.
