Octávio Freitas is a Michelin Chef with strong ties to his Madeiran origins. Everything about this wine is a tribute to Madeira. The Chef likes to call this micro-production “wine of the region”, in reference to its location in Calheta, with extreme sun exposure, an altitude of around 100 metres and a proximity of around 200 metres to the sea.

Sercial,Verdelho
Tasting Notes:
A very gastronomic wine with a clear, citrus-coloured appearance. A markedly citrus aroma with balanced notes of vanilla and some herbaceousness, typical of the variety. Elegant hints of toast. A markedly mineral and fresh palate with a very pleasant finish. It has excellent ageing potential.
Store and Serve Advices:
Store in a horizontal position at a temperature of 15°C. Serve at a temperature of 10-12°C.
Food Pairing:
Ideal to accompany all fish and seafood dishes and some lighter meat dishes.

Contains sulphites.
