Product details
Winemaking:
The grapes were harvested manually, on Saturday, August 14th, on the island of Porto Santo, chosen bucket by bucket and then loaded onto a cold truck for transport by boat to the island of Madeira (since it is not legal to vinify them in Porto Santo ). At 11:00 am, the grapes were pressed, in a whole bunch, into decantation deposits inside a refrigerated container, with three pressing fractions being separated, without any use of SO2. The last fraction of the press “the wine of Corda” was transferred to old wine barrels to ferment and age for 18 months.
