An expression of the terroir and the knowledge of generations, the Dona Matilde project focuses on the production and sale of superior quality DOC Douro and Port wines. Its Reserve White (-18%) is a structured, unctuous and exuberant wine, fermented and aged in 300-litre wooden barrels - 90 points Wine Enthusiast.
Vicentino wines pay homage to a unique region of Portugal (the Alentejo coast), whose vineyards are ideally located by the sea. The sun and the Atlantic breeze make this terroir the birthplace of fresh and exceptional wines. Its Sauvignon Blanc (-24%) is probably the wine that best reflects the perfect symbiosis between the Atlantic, the soils and the vineyards.
After many projects, in 2010 Miguel Louro decided to move forward with his personal project that represented his identity and his desire to make authentic wines in a region with history and a great wine tradition, the Alentejo. This Primeiro Nome (-27%) stands out for its vegetal and green apple notes with a slight floral touch. Without being exuberant, it shows some toastiness, giving it complexity and seriousness. On the palate, it has medium body with a silky texture, crisp acidity and a persistent finish. An excellent choice!
