Grapes from an old vineyard in Bical, in the parish of Melo, Serra da Estrela sub-region. Direct pressing and static decantation for approximately 36 hours. The must was immediately transferred to old 500-liter French oak barrels. Native fermentation and aging on total lees until mid-March, before being racked back to the same barrel. Finally, the wine was released from the barrel for light filtration and bottled after a total of approximately 11 months of barrel aging.

Tasting Notes:
Bright, light straw yellow. Very complex and multilayered aroma, with notes of stone fruit, hay, subtle toast, and hints of baking. Intense, full, and broad palate, with a remarkable balance between breadth and acidic freshness. Long and textured finish.
Store and Serve Advices:
Serve at 10/12ºC.
Food Pairing:
Good with seafood, grilled fresh fish, white meats and as an appetizer.
