Octávio Freitas is a Michelin Chef with strong ties to his Madeiran origins. Everything about this wine is a tribute to Madeira. The Chef likes to call this micro-production “wine of the region”, in reference to its location in Calheta, with extreme sun exposure, an altitude of around 100 metres and a proximity of around 200 metres to the sea.
Grape Varieties:
Terrantez,Malvasia Fina,Verdelho
Tasting Notes:
Clear wine with a citrus colour, with straw nuances. Aromatically, it is quite expressive, where notes of ripe tropical fruit stand out (pineapple, banana and lychee). In the mouth, it is structured, fresh and quite persistent. The acidity is present, but balanced.
Store and Serve Advices:
Store in a horizontal position at a temperature of 15°C. Serve at a temperature of 10-12°C.
Food Pairing:
Ideal to accompany all fish and seafood dishes and some lighter meat dishes.

Contains sulphites.
