Tasting Notes:
A pure red wine, from an ancestral grape variety in the vineyards of Beira Interior. Marufo is an ancient, maternal, enigmatic and challenging grape. With it, we have achieved wines of a light ruby colour, clean and bright, which, in young wines like this one, retain the delicate aroma and flavour characteristic of the grape and must itself. A fresh and smooth wine on the palate, with hints of slightly unripe raspberry and blueberry and a light balsamic vegetal finish. An original and disconcerting (without being so) wine that breaks with pre-established stereotypes. It tastes and smells of grapes, it tastes and smells of wine.
