This wine was made from the region's traditional grape varieties, predominantly Trincadeira and Alicante Bouschet, from some of Borba's oldest vineyards. It was aged for 12 months in French, American and brown oak barrels, with extended aging in the bottle and in the cellar.

Tasting Notes:
Garnet color. Good aromatic intensity of jammy black fruits, cocoa and white chocolate. A fine taste of velvety dried fruit, with structure and balance, and an elegant and persistent finish.
Store and Serve Advices:
It should be consumed at a temperature of 16º to 18ºC
Food Pairing:
Great with red meat dishes and well flavoured.
