The grapes were harvested by hand and after a second selection of the bunches, made at the sorting table on arrival at the winery, the grapes went through the process of total destemming and subsequent foot treading in a marble press for 48 hours to make pre-fermentation skin contact. Fermentation took place in ten new 500 litre French oak spin barrels, followed by two weeks in tanning. It was aged for two years in new 225 litre French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes:
This wine is deep and complex on the nose, with a marked vegetal profile and expressive spices. The black fruit is present, but in a subtle way, resulting in a beautiful and elegant aromatic ensemble. On the palate, all the aromatic complexity is confirmed, with very silky tannins. It's a red wine with remarkable presence and poise, fine in texture and with a very long finish. A wine that impresses with its aromatic complexity and elegance on the palate, showing refinement and persistence.
Store and Serve Advices:
Consume up to 20 to 30 years if kept in a cool, dark place with the bottle lying flat. It should be served at a temperature of 16ºC. Decanting is recommended.

Pairs with red meats, game, intense cheeses and sausages.
