Product details
Adega Mayor Reserva do Comendador Altitude Tinto stands out as a winemaking jewel, coming from a distinct vineyard located at almost 800 meters of altitude, in the lands of Três Lagares and São José. Spanning 2.5 hectares in a terroir where white and red varieties coexist, this non-irrigated vineyard has adapted to the granite soil and challenging climate, producing a wine with remarkable aromatic complexity and singular freshness. Manual harvesting at night avoids the Alentejo heat, followed by a careful vinification and maturation process in French oak barrels. This process culminates in a red wine of exceptional quality, with a distinctive character that stands out from other Alentejo wines, marked by its freshness, forest notes and a strong identity.
