Tasting Notes:
Based mainly on Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca, it reveals a classic and refined profile. The aroma is clear and enveloping, with notes of fresh wild fruits, rockrose, pine and dried herbs, in a register that combines freshness with depth. In the mouth, it stands out for its precision and balance. The tannins are firm but silky, supporting the fruit with distinction. The acidity is fine and persistent, giving it an authentic Douro freshness and a discreet but present minerality. The ageing in French oak is perfectly integrated, allowing the wine to speak clearly of its origin and grape varieties. The finish is long, serene and full of finesse. The profile of Chryseia 2023 is classic: a wine with a polished structure and a great sense of balance, marked by sophistication and elegance.

Disclaimer:
The photo shown is a copy of one of the bottles we have available for delivery. Keep in mind that the older the wine, the more likely the bottle will have some external dirt or slightly damaged labels. This does not mean, however, that the wine is not in a condition to be consumed.
The wines from our rarity zone are stored and air-conditioned in the most correct way so that the wine ages correctly in the bottle, but over time, the wine evolves and changes its characteristics.
We recommend that you carefully remove the cork and let the wine air for some time in order to release its natural aromas. Avoid decanting as it can be a very aggressive operation for old wines.
