Since the first harvest in 2008, each bottle of Legado has contained a wine that honours the memory, passion and vision of a man who dreamed of passing on a legacy to future generations. The 2020 harvest is now on the market and is Fernando Guedes' tribute to the legacy he received from his father, to the old vineyard that moved him and allowed this inspiring story to continue to be written.

Tasting Notes:
Legado 2020 is a sensory journey, where ripe red fruits intersect with spices such as pepper and ginger. In the mouth, it is pure harmony: well-integrated acidity, high-quality tannins, red fruits and white pepper, with an extremely long and delicate finish.
Store and Serve Advices:
Despite being extremely drinkable at point of release, this wine is expected to remain in fine drinking condition for around 20 to 25 years. As the years go by it may throw a deposit. The bottle should ideally be stored on its side, in a cool, dry place.
Food Pairing:
Goes well with strong-flavoured dishes such as game.
Allergens:
Contains sulphites.

The photo shown is a copy of one of the bottles we have available for delivery. Keep in mind that the older the wine, the more likely the bottle will have some external dirt or slightly damaged labels. This does not mean, however, that the wine is not in a condition to be consumed.
The wines from our rarity zone are stored and air-conditioned in the most correct way so that the wine ages correctly in the bottle, but over time, the wine evolves and changes its characteristics.
We recommend that you carefully remove the cork and let the wine air for some time in order to release its natural aromas. Avoid decanting as it can be a very aggressive operation for old wines.
