Winemaking:
Expression of several old Douro vines, over 50 years old, reflecting the richness and diversity within the Douro. The must underwent delicate cold skin maceration in granite presses, subtly extracting color and aromas. Fermentation took place in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature, favoring elegant, non-extractive maceration, respecting the varietal character of the grapes. Aged for 16 months in 225L French oak barrels. Additional aging in the bottle for 9 months.
