The grapes were hand-picked at the end of October, undergoing natural fermentation in barrels and remaining in post-fermentation maceration for 2 weeks. Aged for 9 years in 225L French oak barrels. Before being released, it spends another year in the bottle.

Tasting Notes:
Delicate flavours from prolonged aging in French oak barrels, with spicy notes, complex organic matter, lots of red fruit such as sour cherry and cedar resin from the forests of Sintra. Salty notes from the Atlantic with a very interesting iodine flavour and some red fruits. Smooth and velvety on the palate with lots of fruit, firm and youthful tannins clearly needing many years in the bottle with a crisp and very elegant acidity, plenty of breadth and structure.
Store and Serve Advices:
It should be drunk at around 16-18ºC. It should be opened immediately, although the wine improves in the bottle after 15 years.
Food Pairing:
It goes perfectly with red meat dishes and grilled white meat.
