Tasting Notes:
Lemon yellow colour. Clean, fruity and inviting nose, dominated by notes of very fresh citrus fruit such as grapefruit and lemon, complemented by tropical mango flavours. Nuances of white flowers and green peppers emerge with aeration. The palate is fresh, with a lively acidity balanced by the moderate alcohol characteristic of the Alentejo plains. With a creamy texture, the wine's more tropical and vegetal flavours intensify. Encostas do Enxoé finishes long, surprisingly fresh and inviting to be tasted again.
Store and Serve Advices:
Due to its citrus flavours and the feeling of freshness guaranteed throughout the tasting, we recommend that this wine be served between 7 and 8ºC.
Food Pairing:
Dishes where the refreshing acidity can be a good match at the table will be a safe bet. The most obvious examples are Peixinhos da Horta, or other vegetable dishes, garlic prawns, shellfish, sushi and fresh salads. Making use of its creaminess and elegance, you can also harmonise this wine with grilled white fish.
