Grape Varieties:
Bastardo
Tasting Notes:
Bastardo is a noble grape variety, despite its name evoking something undesirable or controversial. It is mainly present in field blends of old vines in the Douro, which is why it is rarely vinified solo. It is undoubtedly a demanding variety in the vineyard, but it produces wines with an open colour, which surprise us with their high expressiveness, delicacy and great finesse.
Store and Serve Advices:
Store the bottle lying down at a temperature of 15°C. Serve at a temperature of 16°C to 18°C.
Food Pairing:
It is ideal to accompany red meats and, when it is 10 years old or older, a soft cheese.
Allergens:
Contains sulphites.
