Winemaking:
Carefully overseen by two generations of master tasters, Peter and Charles Symington, Graham’s 50 Year Old Tawny Port is a testament to the unparalleled skill and dedication that went into creating the wines that make up this blend. Two of the wine's component lots have a special significance. The first is a 1969 wine known as “CAS Reserve”. It was originally reserved by Peter Symington to mark the birth of his son, Charles, whose initials give him his name. The second is made up of wines from 1970 and 1973. Blended in 1982, more than 50% evaporated over the following decades, resulting in an astonishing concentration.
