This grape variety is extremely rare and was even risking extinction; its unique purple colour makes the distinction from the white Moscatel variety. The fermentation stops by adding brandy. There was a skin contact of 4 months. Ageing in used oak. No ageing in bottle is necessary, because it does not improve after bottling.

Tasting Notes:
Colour Dark topaz. Aroma of Peach, caramel, almond, orange and mushroom. Palate Nuts, elegant with very good acidity/tannins. Very long in the end of mouth.
Store and Serve Advices:
As an aperitif at a temperature of 10ºC or, at 16ºC as a dessert wine. This wine may through sediment.
Food Pairing:
Good as an aperitif or with a dessert.
