From medals to favourites: rosés to discover now

With the arrival of spring and warmer days drawing ever closer, rosé wines are once again taking centre stage, and recent competitions, such as the prestigious Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, have confirmed the excellent quality produced in this category.

In this context, we highlight some of the most recent award-winning wines, with particular attention to Soalheiro Mineral, which was awarded a gold medal, and Massaroco, which won a silver medal. Two examples that perfectly reflect the elegance, freshness and versatility that make Portuguese rosés so appealing.

In addition to these two award-winning wines, it is also worth mentioning those that were awarded the Merit Prize in the same competition: Quinta dos Carvalhais, Mateus Dry, Adega Mayor Pinot Noir, Tojo Lágrima and Cadão Reserve — further confirmation of the consistency and quality of Portuguese wines in this category.

But we don’t stop at the award-winners. Building on this theme, we also suggest other rosés which, although not linked to this competition, stand out as true best-sellers in our shop — reliable choices for those seeking quality and enjoyment in the glass at a very competitive price.

We have therefore put together a selection that combines the best of both worlds: recognised wines and suggestions that have already been tried and tested by those who matter most – those who appreciate them. Don’t miss out!
