Product details
Vinified in batches by grape varieties or individual plots, at Quinta da Leda, from grapes from the Leda, Seixo, Caêdo, Sairrão and Porto estates. A long maceration and gentle extraction are carried out, at controlled temperatures. After fermentation and removal of the liquid, pressing is carried out by gravity, without mechanical action, resulting in 225 L of each individual batch of red AAF. It carries out malolactic fermentation and aging in used French oak barrels for 8 months. This is followed by aging for 16 months in used French oak barrels. The final batch is prepared based on the selection of the best wines, resulting from numerous tastings and analyzes carried out during this period. In order to preserve the highest quality, it is only subjected to filtration before bottling.

Disclaimer:
The photo shown is a copy of one of the bottles we have available for delivery. Keep in mind that the older the wine, the more likely the bottle will have some external dirt or slightly damaged labels. This does not mean, however, that the wine is not in a condition to be consumed.
The wines from our rarity zone are stored and air-conditioned in the most correct way so that the wine ages correctly in the bottle, but over time, the wine evolves and changes its characteristics.
We recommend that you carefully remove the cork and let the wine air for some time in order to release its natural aromas. Avoid decanting as it can be a very aggressive operation for old wines.
