Winemaking:
Aliestre The Very First Day is a premium wine made from the original Portuguese varieties Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional, and the noble Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyards in Estremoz are located in a unique terroir—geologically, it lies on the edge of a slate and marble quarry. After careful sorting and fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine ages for 15 to 18 months in French oak barrels, 30% of which are new.

Tasting Notes:
