Product details
Crushing without destemming, with grape cooling in the winery in small open lagares, where skin maceration begins and subsequent fermentation, without the addition of enzymes or yeast. The treading is done manually with wooden slabs to enhance extraction of the Baga grape's vinous characteristics. After fermentation in small open lagares, the wine is transferred to cement vats, where it rests until November, when it is racked and transferred to 4,000-liter Portuguese oak barrels aged for 18 months.
