From the best grapes from Monte das Serras, the harvest is done by hand into 15kg boxes, which after sorting are subjected to total destemming followed by crushing; cold maceration for 36 hours; fermentation for 8 days in small stainless steel vats at 26ºC; followed by malolactic fermentation. Aged for 24 months in French oak barrels, after bottling it undergoes a 6-month compacting stage.

Tasting Notes:
Garnet-coloured, with a complex and subtle aroma, with notes of wild berries, cocoa and a slight toastiness. The palate is elegant, with delicate tannins and a well-structured body.
Store and Serve Advices:
Store in a cool, dry place away from light. Serve at between 16º and 18ºC. Suitable for immediate consumption and can age for up to 5 years after bottling.
Food Pairing:
Goes well with game dishes, red meats and soft cheeses.
