All grapes are selected before being foot trodden in lagares for 1 to 3 days before fermentation. The must will ferment in granite stone vats and then finish fermenting in stainless steel vats at controlled temperatures, which vary between 22ºC and 27ºC, with manual pigeages. The resulting wines are placed in one and two year old French oak barrels (225 and 300 liters), from selected cooperages, where they undergo a malting process. selected coopers, where they undergo malolactic fermentation. All wines were carefully aged for 26 months in barrels, keeping the different fermentations completely separate until the final blend, in January 2023. The wine aged for 2 months in stainless steel vats until bottling.

Tasting Notes:
Handcrafted, it reveals the highest quality of the Douro character. Black and wild fruits with immense purity, with notes of some mushrooms and fresh moss. Juicy and tasty flavor, with a light final texture. A wine that invites you to have another glass, and in a beautiful way.
Store and Serve Advices:
Serve at a temperature between 16ºC and 18ºC.
Food Pairing:
It goes well with truffled cheeses or meats, barbecued meats and aromatic herbs such as dill, coriander, cilantro and parsley.
