The color is open, lively and with violet touches. On the nose, it presents notes of cherry and rhubarb, fresh herbs, spices and floral nuances that combined with a light smoked character and notes of graphite give it the complexity of a red from Douro schist soils. In the mouth, the elegant structure, freshness and acidity confirm Niepoort's signature. Finishes almost spicy, persistent, elegant and with excellent acidity.
