Product details
Produced from carefully selected grapes in the best plots of the Quinta. The harvest took place under ideal conditions and the grape bunches with very high sugar levels and balanced acidity were chosen manually in the vineyard. Fermentation and maceration took place in small-capacity stainless steel vats at controlled temperatures, followed by post-fermentation maceration. After malolactic fermentation in vat, the wine aged entirely in new French oak barrels for 15 months. The wine was bottled in April 2009, and aged in bottles until 2024, when 2,224 bottles were released.

Tasting Notes:
This wine presents a myriad of aromas. An intense, complex nose, still with ripe fruit present, such as plum and blackberry, also vegetable notes and a mentholated flavor that gives it freshness. As we stir, we feel light nuances of vanilla and tertiary aromas of tobacco, dried leaves, and earth. In the mouth it is velvety, with body, complex and fresh. We confirm the aromas we smell in our nose: ripe fruit, dry leaves and tobacco. Balanced with wood and the subtlety of earthy notes. Persistent and greedy finish, The elegance of time ready to be enjoyed.

Disclaimer:
The photo shown is a copy of one of the bottles we have available for delivery. Keep in mind that the older the wine, the more likely the bottle will have some external dirt or slightly damaged labels. This does not mean, however, that the wine is not in a condition to be consumed.
The wines from our rarity zone are stored and air-conditioned in the most correct way so that the wine ages correctly in the bottle, but over time, the wine evolves and changes its characteristics.
We recommend that you carefully remove the cork and let the wine air for some time in order to release its natural aromas. Avoid decanting as it can be a very aggressive operation for old wines.
