Wines rated ‘Good Buy 2025’ by Revista de Vinhos magazine

The ‘Good Buy’ seal is a distinction awarded by Revista de Vinhos magazine to wines offering excellent value for money, as assessed by a panel of tasters. The criteria include a minimum score, a maximum price, high production volume and wide availability on the market. Shall we take a look at some of them?

The Bridão Classic is a must-try from the Tejo region. The aroma focuses on notes of dried herbs, tree bark, ripe but not overly exuberant fruit and a floral background of Touriga Nacional. Simple but well-balanced on the palate, it is an everyday red that is versatile at the table, which is a huge advantage, in addition to its affordable price.

Marquês de Borba White, another classic! Open citrus colour. In the aroma, citrus notes with a slight minerality. Good structure with well-marked and balanced acidity. Quality fruit and a long finish.

And since we are on the subject of classics, we could not leave out Periquita Reserve. Periquita wine is known as the first red wine bottled in Portugal. This innovation reflects its originality, and its Portuguese character is evident in its presence on Portuguese tables since 1850. Periquita Reserve is both an heir to the true tradition of the Periquita brand and a vision of the future.
