Grapes are harvested manually and transported in 30 Kg trays. Controlled fermentation with extended maceration, stopped by grape brandy addition. A judicious blend of superior quality old Tawny Ports (matured in oak), having an average age of 40 Years Old.

Touriga Nacional,Touriga Franca,Tinta Roriz,Tinta Barroca,Tinto Cão
Tasting Notes:
Amber with greenish tonalities. Intense aromas of dried fruits and refined smoky flavours. Round and dense in mouth, rich in dried fruits, with a superb long lasting finish.
Store and Serve Advices:
It should be served at room temperature 18ºC/64ºF or slightly chilled.
Food Pairing:
Excellent digestive wine. Splendid dessert wine, it is the perfect ending for a gourmet meal.

expand_moreThis is definitely old, an acquired taste perhaps, the wine showing high wood acidity, with a tight character. Any fruit has gone, leaving pure acidity and a very mature texture.
