Hand-picked. Reception with destemming and gentle crushing, followed by pressing under an inert atmosphere. Prolonged fermentation, partly in wood, with the aim of achieving the best balance between intense aromas, freshness and volume in the mouth. Fermentation and ageing on fine lees, with “batonnâge”, partly in French and American oak, until bottling.

Tasting Notes:
Pale pink in colour, with hints of salmon. On the nose it is intense and enveloping, with great freshness and aromas of red fruits such as strawberries and raspberries. It has the soul of the Douro grape varieties planted at altitude around Vila Real, where the freshness has been balanced by a slight touch of ageing in French and American oak. On the palate it has volume and freshness, with very lively natural acidity, long and persistent.
Store and Serve Advices:
Serve at 8ºC.

Try it as an aperitif or to accompany summer fish dishes, salads or sushi.
