Product details

Winemaking:
Fronteira Private Selection Tinto is a continuation of Fronteira Grande Reserva Tinto, born from the selection of the best wines that age in our cellar. It was made through a careful selection of grape plots with a perfect combination of barrels. Each variety was vinified and aged separately. Fermentation in temperature-controlled plants, light manual pumping over with alternating mechanical treading. Aged 70% in new 225L French oak barrels and 30% in new American oak barrels, which gives it a lot of elegance. After 18 months of aging, the final bottled batch was created, with only light filtration. We try to avoid excessive extraction of tannins. Malolactic fermentation occurred spontaneously in the barrels.

Grape Varieties:
Tinta Roriz,Touriga Franca,Touriga Nacional,Sousão
