Product details
The grapes are transported in 22kg boxes and undergo complete destemming. They are lightly pressed and then decanted into stainless steel tanks where fermentation begins with only the fine lees, without pumping over, at a temperature of 15ºC. Alcoholic fermentation lasts three weeks. No malolactic fermentation is conducted. About a year in 500 liter oak barrels.

The character of Encruzado is clearly evident in the elegance and magnitude of this Dão wine. It has a captivating lemon yellow color. On the nose it presents very refined and elegant aromas with notes of lime blossom, lemon verbena and orange blossom, combined with notes of white-fleshed fruits. On the palate, it reveals freshness and lively and attractive acidity, with good expressiveness and a balanced palate, enhanced by a subtle mineral delicacy. Expresses elegance, good harmony and persistence, with a long and refined finish.
Store and Serve Advices:
It is recommended to serve the wine chilled, around 10-12ºC.
Food Pairing:
It goes well with fresh seafood, grilled fish, and salads.
