Product details
Wine fermented with red grape varieties whose colour and texture are extracted from the skin and seeds during fermentation and post-fermentation maceration of red wine.
Grape Varieties:
Aragonêz,Touriga Franca,Alicante Bouschet,Petit Verdot
Tasting Notes:
Bright ruby of medium intensity. Clean nose with some complexity. Varied bouquet with notes of black plum, cherry and blackberry making up the ripe fruity side, followed by aromas of warm spice where cinnamon and vanilla stand out, ending with fresh cistus nuances. The palate is intense, with balanced acidity, well-polished tannins and a silky texture. There are warm notes of caramel and chocolate. It shows the undeniable opulence of an Alentejo red wine, which lasts until the smooth, warm finish.
Store and Serve Advices:
Due to its intensity, complexity and notorious alcohol, we recommend serving this wine between 15 and 17ºC.
Food Pairing:
Pork sausages in a large cut or ‘pica-pau’ of your favourite cut will be great partners for this wine. Try it with spicy stews in which the meat is very tender, such as pork cheeks in red wine or lamb stew, to make the experience even more unique.
Allergens:
Contains sulphites.
