Winemaking:
Hand-picked in small 20kg boxes, fermented with indigenous yeasts, Old Vines in traditional stone presses with foot treading. Tinto Cão in stainless steel tanks with little maceration. Aging: 12 months in used French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes:
Fresh red fruit, cherry, hints of blue fruit and slight spice. Notes of cedar. Fragrant, wood present but not overpowering. Flavors: Fresh with good acidity, red fruit, a slight smoky/toasted. Dry but present tannins, slight spice. Long, fresh and persistent finish.
Store and Serve Advices:
Serve at 16ºC.
Food Pairing:
It goes well with game meat dishes, mushroom dishes and also grilled meats.
