Winemaking:
This wine is fermented in spherical cement vats using gentle pumping over and temperature control. Malolactic fermentation is completed in French oak barrels. The wine is aged entirely in 225-liter French oak barrels for 12 months, 60% in new barrels and 40% in second use.

This blend of Tinto Cão enchants with its open ruby colour and complex aroma of red cherries, spicy notes and a touch of floral sophistication. The palate is marked by tamed tannins and sharp acidity, indicating its potential for ageing, while complex layers of red fruits and subtle herbs provide a delicious flavour, leading to a polished, long finish.
Store and Serve Advices:
Good aging potential. Serve at 16-18°C.

This wine goes very well with red meats, roast beef and grilled meats.
