Product details

Winemaking:
From a single parcel of very old vines, Vinha da Granja, planted in 1929. A field blend of 34 different grape varieties. The grapes ferment for 10 days in large oak barrels (4 tons) with temperature control and periodic remontage. Ageing for 18 months in new 225 liter French oak barrels.

Very concentrated and intense, with balsamic notes from the Oak well paired with figs, black plums and tobacco. Full-bodied, firm and mature with round, velvety tannins. Mineral, with a complex and persistent finish.

Store and Serve Advices:
Storage Lying down at a temperature of 15°C. Serve at a temperature of 16°C to 18ºC.

Food Pairing:
This wine finely accompanies red meats, roast beef and grilled meats.

We recommend that you carefully remove the cork and let the wine air for some time in order to release its natural aromas. Avoid decanting as it can be a very aggressive operation for old wines.
