Product details
Winemaking:
The grapes are foot-trodden in traditional granite lagares (wine presses), which, due to their shape, allow perfect contact between the must and the skins, enabling greater extraction. Fermentation is interrupted by the addition of grape brandy, followed by aging in oak vats for a period of 2 years. After aging in wooden vats, they are bottled between the second and third year after the harvest.
Grape Varieties:
Traditional grape varieties
Tasting Notes:
With a very deep, almost black, purple colour. A highly concentrated and fruity aroma, with notes of jam, blackberry, and plum. The great sensation on the palate reveals all the complexity of the fruit's flavour; a full-bodied and balanced wine with a soft and velvety finish, a long and lingering aftertaste. A vintage wine with great aging potential.
