Made in cement vats from a blend of equal parts Tinto Cão and Tinta da Barca. After malolactic fermentation, it is aged in used French oak casks for two winters. Two lesser-known Douro grape varieties, but part of the classic blend of old vines.

Tasting Notes:
Bright red colour, not very intense. Penetrating aroma of cherries, sloes and spices such as cinnamon and aniseed. On the palate it's a fluid, elegant wine with a surprising tannic structure and good ageing potential.
Store and Serve Advices:
It should be served at a temperature of 16ºC to 18ºC.
Food Pairing:
It goes well with red meats, stews and roasts.
